Green Nike Hyperdunk Supreme Shoes for Basketball

Supreme seems to be in large demand this days. Everybody wants a product that is supreme. Supreme pizza. Taco supreme. Supreme gasoline. If a product is deemed "Supreme" you just can't go wrong in purchasing it. And why not? Supreme is defined as being the highest in degree and quality. Who doesn't want the products that they buy to be of the highest quality? Not me. It has got to be Supreme.

When it comes to basketball shoes, if a shoe is labeled "Supreme" it has got to be a special shoe. The new Kobe VII will be dropping in a couple of months in a Supreme edition. And, starting next month, the same can be said of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011. So what is going to make this already stellar shoe Supreme? A webbed TPU overlay on the toebox placed on the current silhouette, that's what. This new edition to the classic silhouette of the Hyperdunk 2011 will provide increased durability and support.

The shoe's silhouette has become a the staple of the Hyperdunk that sneakerheads have come to expect with every new edition. The most significant design feature of the Hyperdunk's silhouette is the shoe's collar. It has always been very exaggerated from high to low. This unique collar design has not only given the Hypedunk it's signature look, it has always served as eleveated funcionality on the court. Nike shoe designer Leo Chang wanted to create a less restrictive cut in the shoe that a high-top shoe typically has. By creating a collar that moves from high to low in cut, pinching of the collar in the heel is eliminated. Although the Hyperdunk is considered a high-cut performance shoe, it allows for the flexibly and lightweight ride that a low-cut basketball shoe is capable of. Chang and his team added an external heel counter to allow the shoe to mold to the foot and create maximum lockdown in the rear foot portion of the shoe.

The first colorway of the new Nike Zoom Hyperdunk Supreme 2011 will use a beautiful Tonal Green color. This color is featured on the shoe's upper, laces, and a small portion of the midsole. The Swoosh uses Metallic Silver while Cool Grey takes up both the midsole and outsole. The new webbed TPU overlay is done in Tonal Green as well.

As of November 1, there will be a new edition to the already strong line of Nike shoes for basketball. Not just any new shoe. A shoe of the highest quality. A Supreme shoe.
